Are you part of a sports club that could use some extra sponsorship cash this year?

Runway Finance is calling on local sports club members to ‘Play It Forward’ and score some serious rewards for their club.

Runway is a brand new online mortgage broking service doing things a bit differently to make getting a new home loan simple and quick.

We’re also passionate sports fans and active club members ourselves, and want to provide a much-needed boost to Melbourne’s grass roots sports clubs.

‘Play It Forward’ is our exciting new initiative helping communities raise money for sports clubs by referring people who might be shopping around for a great deal on a home loan.

And for every successful loan settled, we’ll donate $300 to the referring club. It’s that simple!

Coming from a footy background ourselves, we love a bit of healthy competition, so there’s also a chance for participating clubs to score a bonus, with an extra $6,000 up for grabs* for the three best referral clubs.

Here’s the game plan:

1. Register your club or organisation to be part of the program via the Runway Finance homepage (under Our Community) or send us an email here: takeoff@runwayfinance.com.au
   
2. Start spreading the word about ‘Play It Forward’ through your club’s newsletter, social media channels, everywhere and get the referrals coming in via the Runway Finance website (we’ll help you with ideas and suggestions for that!)
3. Tell everyone in your community to mention the club’s name when they enquire with us

Bonus cash:

At the end of the financial year (30 June 2022) the club with the highest number of settled loans will receive a bonus $3,000 cash, the second highest receives $2,000 and the third highest receives $1,000 in cash. Minimum of 10 settled loans to quality for the bonus incentive.

So, a club with 10 settled loans will receive the initial $3,000 ($300 per loan) plus the bonus $3,000 cash if they are in the top three clubs to provide successful referrals.

Terms and conditions

By joining our Play It Forward Community Program we will reward your organisation or club when you refer people from your community to us and they become our customers. 

• You must register your club or organisation to be a participant in the program via the Runway Finance homepage (under Our Community) or send us an email here to register: takeoff@runwayfinance.com.au

• Each customer you refer who settles an eligible home loan through Runway Finance will earn your organisation or club $300 (cash payment)
• At the end of the financial year (30 June 2022), if your club has the highest number of settled loans (compared with all other participating clubs) you will receive a bonus of $3,000 cash (min. 10 settled loans to quality for the bonus incentive). The second highest participating club receives $2,000 and the third highest receives $1,000 in cash. 
• Your club must have a minimum of 10 settled loans to quality for the bonus incentive.

When you register, we will provide support to get started in referring people in your community to us. The referral process is straightforward:

• Let everyone know you’re a part of the Runway Finance Play It Forward program and that they can help support your club by talking to us about a new home loan. 

• Customers can make direct contact with us via the Runway Finance website or email to book an appointment with one of co-pilots, letting us know that they have been referred by your organisation or club OR you can provide us the details of a referral and we can make contact to book the appointment

For all eligible referrals your club will be rewarded upon successful settlement of each loan.
